Medium: sumi ink (charcoal based) lines with Copic alcohol-based marker colors on Bristol board
One of the houses on my block has a wild, overgrown yard filled with native plants. These irises come up there in spring, and I have several dozen pictures of them on my phone—they’re so eye-catching! The original of this print was highlighted with gold acrylic paint and given to my mom for her birthday.
